Group forms a petition to boycott Capcom over DMC4 going multiplatform!

Wow, apparently the announcement that Capcom made this week regarding Devil May Cry 4 going multiplatform was like poking a hornets nest with a stick.

A group of upset fanboys are not happy with Capcom over this decision.  They have formed a petition for people to boycott the purchase of DMC4 and any other Capcom game.

We (The people that have signed this petition) feel very left out in your decision to make Devil May Cry 4 a Multi-Platform title, and hereby agree to boycott your sale of Capcom affiliated games. This is due to your decision to turn your back on your most faithful gaming company. For years we have enjoyed games, we have reaped the benefits of your committment to Sony. We find it absolutely demoralizing for not only the gamers, but also Sony itself. We want you to know that will not, and should not stand for your actions, and therefore withold our option of buying your product.

These immature fanboys need to put a petition together to boycott Sony, not Capcom.  Sony was the one that developed a piece of hardware that is costly and time consuming to develop for.  Sony was the mastermind behind pricing their system at $600 which alienates many gamers who simply can't afford it.

So can you really blame Capcom, Namco and many others that are sure to follow for taking their games elsewhere?

After these developers drop 10's of million's of dollars in development cost's just to release it on an overpriced console with a limited install base, the developer has no choice these days!
