Capcom is the latest to license Epic's unreal engine 3!

When it cost't up to 1 million dollars to license a game engine, I am beging to wonder if Epic is making more money off it's latest game engine than Gears of War.

Mark Beaumont, Capcom head of software publishing in North America and Europe, called UE3

“one of the most powerful and versatile” next generation development tools.

"More than just a graphics engine, UE3 will empower the development team to create the quality experience that gamers expect from a Capcom product,” he added in a statement.

Other companies that have announced the licensing of Unreal Engine 3 include Electronic Arts, Sony Online Entertainment, THQ, Midway, Atari, Gearbox, 10Tacle Studios, SCEA and NCsoft.
