Japan gets Blue Dragon TV show!

Next-Gen.biz is reporting on a new cartoon series in Japan based on the hit Japanese RPG Blue Dragon:

Key Mistwalker figures will be involved in the show’s development. Hironobu Sakaguchi, founder of Mistwalker and creator of Final Fantasy, Akira Toriyama, character designer and Nobou Uematsu, composer will be involved in some shape or form.

The show will begin April 7 and will air every Saturday at 9 a.m. on Television Tokyo.

It looks like Microsoft is doing everything it can to break into the Japanese market but only time will tell if the new TV show will help in doing just that.

Now granted, Blue Dragon has been a success for Microsoft in Japan and it will be interesting to see how well it does when it comes to the states.
