According to IGN a "big-name publisher and well-established development house" has revealed that Halo 3 will be released in Sept to beat the holiday rush and to push more 360's then PS3's and Wii's during the Holidays.
I think this is a smart move on Microsoft's part. Not only will Halo 3 move systems, it will also give Halo some alone time on the shelf before the busy month of Nov rolls around.
With Halo 3 and GTA4 out before the holidays, the XBOX 360 looks to be the system to beat this holiday.
