Playing first person shooters improve vision!

MSNBC.com is reporting on a study that was published in the journal of Psychological Science.

"The finding suggests that playing first-person action video games could be a useful rehabilitation therapy for people with certain vision problems, she said, such as amblyopia (or lazy eye) and the simple effects of aging."

  • "These games push the human visual system to the limits and the brain adapts to it,"
  • "That learning carries over into other activities and possibly everyday life."

"Another study has showed that playing certain virtual reality games that involved physical motion helped stroke victims improve their ability to walk eventually."

I think someone need's to send Jack Thompson this study because Jack has convinced himself that these games cause people to murder each other. But than again we aren't ass holes like Jack!
